Music Mondays #8

It’s my favourite time of the week (besides the latest series of The Great British Bake Off).

Last week, the playlist was a bit of mixed bag – which can definitely be said of this week as well.

Wild Belle, Have You Both

The brother-sister duo have an enticing indie-pop sound to them, and Have You Both feels ready-made for the indie movies I love (just as much as the same five movies I’ve watched stupid amounts of time).

Kero Kero Bonito, Only Acting

The London trio are new to me – much like most of this week’s features – and I love the experimental sound to the song.

Spoon, Do You

I’ve been a little offbeat at the minute – with the lockdown and just 2020 in general – but the upbeat, summery vibes of this track by the Texas band Spoon.

Car Seat Headrest, Drunk Drivers/Killer Whales

This song – and this band – aren’t new to me but I love this stripped down, chilled version of the song.

Wallows, Pleaser

Again, Wallows aren’t new to me (though I did find out the main actor from 13 Reasons Why is their lead singer, which was an interesting thing to learn) but this song is full of good vibes – which we definitely need at the moment.
