WWW Wednesday (3rd February 2021)

It’s another WWW Wednesday. WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme, hosted by Taking on a World of Words. I’ve already posted one of these before but I thought, for lack of a posting schedule – minus upcoming blog tours and music posts – I’d do another one.

The meme is based on the following questions:

What are you currently reading?

What did you recently finish reading?

What do you think you’ll read next?

This is Helen McGinn’s debut novel. I’m reading this one for a blog tour, my third Blog Tour of the month (my first one for Rachel’s Random Resources) , and I’m liking it so far. It’s a journey through love, family and dreams. I’m over halfway through this one and I’m not sure I want it to end.

I mentioned this one in my last WWW Wednesday post and – yes – I’m still reading (listening to) it, I’m actually really liking this one. The fake romance has escalated and I’m really hoping it’ll end well 😂.

My interview for this blog tour is coming on Sunday – so keep an eye out – but (having read over it in a hurry to get the questions churned out) I need to take the time to properly read it.

My post for this Blog Tour, my first with The WriteReads Team, is coming tomorrow (at 11:26, so keep an eye out). I finished this one last month and – spoiler alert – I enjoyed the retelling of a children’s classic.

My post for this book, which I received as an ARC from NetGalley and the publishers last year, is also coming tomorrow (at 6:30pm, so keep an eye out). This was the final book I read last year and – spoiler alert – I really enjoyed this story of female friendship and a very quirky way to find ‘The One’.

Once I get through the books I’m currently reading/listening to, there are two books I need to get through before the month ends.

This was a book I was kindly gifted by the publishers and I can’t wait to get into it. It sounds like a fun-filled family affair and it’ll have me reminiscing about my trip to Dublin with my best mates (which happened 3 years ago to this day!) for sure.

This is my final book (and Blog Tour post) of the month and I’m looking forward to it. It’s the first YA book I’ve read in ages and I love the vibes the cover gives off. I’m only 2% into it at the moment but I’m excited to get started properly…once I’ve got down on the more romantic books I’m currently reading.

So there’s my answers to another WWW Wednesday. How’s your week going so far? How are you feeling? I started mine feeling a bit unmotivated and flat but I’m determined to finish it on a high (I think the exciting books I’ve got to finish and the ones I have yet to read will help!).

What about you? What are you currently reading? What did you finish recently? What are you reading next? Let’s chat 💬!
