It’s another Monday and I have to say we are absolutely racing through March, aren’t we?
As always, I’ll be sharing 5 songs I’ve been listening to (and loving) at the moment.
The Regrettes, What Am I Gonna Do Today?
Unlike most of my Music Mondays picks, I’ve actually heard of this LA-based punk band and this song is actually my favourite of mine.
The song is very relaxed, with an acoustic feel to it. It’s the kind of song you can listen to with a cup of coffee or a good book, unwinding after a hard day.

Bull, Love Goo
Like The Regrettes, I’ve heard of – and previously reviewed – this York based indie-rock outfit.
The song is easy-listening, Weezer-esque rock full of catchy riffs and I can’t definitely see it in an indie film/TV show some day.

Somebody’s Child, Top Drawer Romance
I’ve not heard of the Dublin based singer but this song – one of his singles released last year – was a good introduction.
The song sounds very similar to Jamie T or Tom Grennan, the kind of rough around the edges indie-rock we all have a soft spot for.

London Grammar, Lose Your Head
The English trio aren’t new to me but this song is.
Whilst lead singer Hannah Reid’s voice remains as captivating as ever, this song symbolises a new direction for the band – one I’m very excited about.

Bleachers (featuring Bruce Springsteen), chinatown
New Jersey based indie pop act Bleachers isn’t new to me but this song (featuring Bruce Springsteen) is.
I’m just to high impact songs from them but this one feels more relaxed and stripped back, which I love.
