Much like restaurants in much of the U.K., I’m back to business as usual..at least where complaining, reading and posting about music is concerned 😂.
I’ll be sharing 5 tracks I’ve been listening to and loving at the moment.
Real Estate, Had to Hear
This is my second track from this New Jersey band on the playlist.
This song reminds me of another American band I like, Half Moon Run, and it has catchy guitar and an upbeat feel to it. I think I definitely needed after a rain-filled weekend!

Purr, Boy
I’d never heard of this New York born duo until I came across this track (from last year) but I knew it belonged on my playlist straight away.
Jack and Eliza’s voices blend together so well and are complemented by the music which has a summery feel to it.

Diet Cig, Night Terrors
I’d never heard of the American alternative rock duo until this song popped up on a recent playlist.
The song is extremely easy to listen to and wouldn’t go amiss in the kind of cheesy teen movie I love to hate 😂.

Bored at My Grandma’s House, Skin
Unusually for these posts, I’ve actually heard of this Leeds based singer-songwriter.
As much as I love an upbeat, indie floor-filler I do love more stripped back, moody sounding tracks and this song is certainly one of those.

Hi Frisco, In The Clear
I’d never heard of the U.K. band but this song was a great introduction.
I’ve felt in a bit of a rut this weekend but this upbeat song with catchy guitar and soft vocals was exactly what I needed to get back into some sort of groove.

What have you been listening to at the moment? I’d love to chat and share recommendations! 😊.
