Maria (The Character Study) tagged me to
to get involved in this tag and – though I’m never one to pass up getting involved with a tag post – I knew I wanted to give it a go.
I have NetGalley (and the occasional ARC copy from publishers or giveaway) to thank for not really missing out on new releases but – even still – some have definitely slipped my mind!

A new release you’ve already read

I’m lucky to say that I’ve read a lot of new releases already (I’d put more on the list but I simply can’t remember what new releases I’ve read 😂) but these are three that I’ve particularly enjoyed. The Mix Up is McCulloch’s second book, her first being Just Friends (Read the Q&A here). The Lucky Escape is Laura Jane Williams’ latest book, her debut being Our Stop. I also read my first Taylor Jenkins Reid book, her latest, Malibu Rising.
A new release that’s already come out but you haven’t read yet

I’ve seen Instructions for Dancing everywhere and – after loving Yoon’s previous releases- I’m dying to read this one.
A new release you just found out about

I listened to Hall’s previous novel, Boyfriend Material, in February so I’m surprised I hadn’t heard of this one (not just because it’s probably about cake which — no exaggeration — is basically my passion…eating it anyway!).
A new release you’re excited about from one of your favourite authors

I really like Bourne’s honest writing style and I’m looking forward to reading her latest book whenever that may be!
A new release you’re excited about from a new to you author

I haven’t read Beach Read (yet) so I guess Henry counts for this one! I’ve already read this one but I’m so excited for more people to give it a read…I loved it!
A new release you have no interest in
No idea! I don’t suppose I’d pay much attention to releases, new or old, if they weren’t interesting to me!
A new release you want to pick up soon

I very rarely read non-fiction but – as a single and cynical person – I think I could do with some advice on love!
A new release that hasn’t come out yet but you can’t wait to read
I’m going to be cheeky here and — for lack of any actual ideas — I’ll say my own book! I haven’t written it yet, or even thought of it, but the day when I have my book in my hands will be incredible.
A new release with an amazing cover
I’ve already mentioned it but Malibu Rising (both the US and U.K. cover) is stunning. It’s not the most groundbreaking or exciting cover but there’s something gorgeous about it I can’t quite put my finger on.
Your favourite new release you’ve said so far
This was a tricky one! I definitely think You and Me on Vacation for this one. The romance was stunning and I love the escapism in it all, which we definitely all need!
