My July TBR

I’ll be posting my June wrap-up post tomorrow but, for now, I wanted to give you a heads up about the books I’ll be reading next month (and, no, I can’t believe it’s July soon).

Is This It? by Hannah Tovey

(Goodreads Link)

After hearing her episode of this podcast , I bought Tovey’s first book The Education of Ivy Edwards and also found – when I looked on my NetGalley shelf – I’d be approved to read an ARC of her latest, Is This It.

I’m 41% into it and I’m really enjoying it. I love how honest and relatable Ivy is and the book is so sweet, tender and outrageously funny – I’m pretty sure it’ll be one of my favourite reads this year!

Dial A For Aunties by Jesse Q Suntanto

I won a copy of this one in a giveaway a while back and – despite giving it a read pretty much immediately- I haven’t finished it…yet.

I’m already loving the humour and the premise is really exciting, the strong emphasis on family kind of reminds me of The Last Tang Standing by Lauren Ho which I really enjoyed reading last year.

So that’s it, my (very short) TBR for the next month! I purposely haven’t signed up to any blog tours next month (for now, at least!) so I can focus on reading some books on my shelf and my Kindle. What will you be reading in July, let me know (as I’m always looking for inspiration!).
