I might have completely forgotten about Music Mondays (probably down to the social media outage, but I think we’ve all heard enough about that!), so I thought I’d redeem myself with a reading update.
This challenge was created by Sam and centres around answering the following questions:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
Whenever I actually remember to pick it up, I’m currently reading The Party Crasher by Sophie Kinsella.
I can’t remember ever reading one of her books but this — her upcoming release —- interested me so I was more than happy when a proof copy landed on my doorstep. I’m not very far into this one but I’m enjoying it so far, there’s no denying that Kinsella is great at creating characters that feel real and genuine.
Like The Party Crasher, this was one of the few books on my TBR for the month. I can’t disclose my full thoughts on this one until my blog tour date later this month but, for now, I’ll say it was a festive read about finding yourself after a break up, friendships and found family.
Once I finish The Party Crasher, I will have completed my TBR for the month. So, once that happens, I’ll be looking for something to read.
I don’t have a clue what my next read will be but I’ll be sure to update you once I know.
