Whilst the thought of a new year does fill me with apprehension, one thing (I’m hoping) that’ll get me through is the selection of books coming out in 2022.
Here are just a few of the books I’m looking forward to reading next year:
Weather Girl by Rachel Lynn Solomon

I read Solomon’s debut, The Ex Talk , back in August and really enjoyed the not-quite friends to lovers story. Her second book sounds ever so slightly different but I’m pretty sure I’ll enjoy this just as much as her first book.
Preorder Weather Girl:
Bookshop | Amazon | Barnes & Noble | Libro.fm | Audible | Book Depository | Indigo
The No-Show by Beth O’Leary

O’Leary’s books have been a bit hit and miss for me (my favourite has to be The Switch ) but I really like the sound of this one. It kind of gives me The Other Woman vibes (which is one of my favourite trashy rom-coms) so I’m definitely here for it.
Pre-order The No Show:
Amazon | Blackwells | Bookshop.org | Foyles | Hive | Waterstones | WH Smith | Wordery
Four Aunties And A Wedding by Jesse Q Sutanto

Dial A For Aunties was a hilarious, slightly unconventional read so I’m definitely looking forward to reading about Meddy and her family’s next adventures.
Pre-order Four Aunties And A Wedding:
Amazon | Barnes & Noble | Bookshop.org
The Wedding Crasher by Mia Sosa

I thoroughly enjoyed The Worst Best Man so it’s no wonder Sosa’s next book is on this list. I love a romance novel so I’m hoping this delivers.
Pre-order The Wedding Crasher:
Amazon | IBooks | Google Play |
Book Lovers by Emily Henry

I might be late to the party where Emily Henry’s concerned (check out my review of her previous books here and here) but that doesn’t mean I’m not looking forward to her upcoming release.
Pre-order Book Lovers:
Amazon | Blackwells | Bookshop.org | Foyles | Hive | Waterstones
What books are you most anticipating in 2022? Any that I mentioned? Are there any books that I should add to my TBR? Share in the comments!

Looking forward to The No-Show as well…have been meaning to read The Switch. Hopefully I can in the new year. Heard good things about it.

Weather Girl and Book Lovers are both on my most anticipated list as well, along with a slew of other romances that sound fantastic, like Set On It, Delilah Green Doesn’t Care, and Kamila Knows Best! Here’s to hoping that we both end up loving all the 2022 releases we end up reading!
