I might be grappling with a two day hangover, and more than annoyed British summer seems to have come to an end, but it’s time for a playlist update.
Luna Lake, How Was I Supposed To Know
Bristol based four-piece Luna Lake are fairly new to me but with soft instrumentals and dreamy harmonies, this song is the perfect addition to anyone’s (what’s left of summer) playlist.
Connie Constance, Costa del Margate
Watford-born indie singer Connie Constance is again a new find for me but the smooth vocals and catchy instrumentals of this track are enough for me to want to listen to more.
Dope Lemon, Rose Pink Cadillac
Australian indie-folk-rock artist Dope Lemon isn’t new to me (though the revelation this is the work of a solo artist and not a band is definitely new to me). The silky tones of the vocals and summer-soaked hooks make this the ideal tune to ease anyone into the week ahead.
Wallows, Especially You
American band Wallows aren’t new to me but this track is. With an infectious pop beat and catchy lyrics, this song is a great one to add to your playlist.
Gang of Youths, Why Does It Always Rain On Me?
Australian band Gang of Youths have once again cemented their place as one of my favourite musical finds of the last few years. With gorgeous instrumentals and soft tones, this is a cover you’ll be sure to remember.
What have you been listening to at the moment? I’d love to chat and share recommendations!

Also been plagued with a two day hangover – will I ever learn? 😂
