WWW Wednesday (1st September 2021)

We’ve made it through another month 🎉. In case you missed it, I’ve posted my TBR for September and my August wrap up. Although it’s weird getting my head around how quickly the year is going, I’m looking forward to whatever September holds.

I don’t exactly know what’ll happen this month but one thing I do know is that I’ll be reading.

As always, it’s worth mentioning that this challenge was created by Sam and centres around answering the following questions:

What are you currently reading?

What did you recently finish reading?

What do you think you’ll read next?

After a month of (mostly) easy, romantic reads, I wanted to go out of my genre comfort zone and pick up People Like Her.

Admittedly, I picked this (and the other book on my TBR for the month) up because it was on Kindle deals but — I have to say — I might not be that far into this one but I am enjoying it. The social media side of it reminds me of Living My Best Life by Claire Frost and I like the sense of intrigue that’s already present.

I haven’t finished a book since last week’s WWW Wednesday post.

I hardly ever read non-fiction, though I regard Everything I Know About Love as one of my favourite books of all time, so I thought why not change that?

I’m a massive fan of Mae Martin so I’m looking forward to reading this book and — who knows — I might even learn something from it.

So that wraps up another WWW Wednesday. What have you been reading at the moment? I’d love to chat about recent/upcoming reads with you (maybe you can help me choose my next read?).
